Nominations for Elders – you can be involved in the process:

An Elders Nominating Committee has been appointed with the purpose of praying and bringing names to the AGM coming up in less than two months. If after some prayer, you think that a particular person would serve well as an Elder then please talk to either Stephen Styles 688 0546, Eleanor Stevens 688 9012 (current Elders), or Lenard Smythe 021 496523, Ross Beadle 686 1775, Bobbie Campbell 614 7170, or Janice Redhead 688 6482 who are available to receive your suggestions.  Please read Scriptures like 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. Elders must be a member and serve for two year terms. They are eligible for reappointment.

Foodbank Support:

At a recent Church Meeting, we talked about giving food (non-perishables) to the Salvation Army Foodbank to help at a time when people are experiencing increased costs. On Sunday mornings when there is Communion (next Sunday), there is now an opportunity for you to donate food (or financial donations in an envelope) which will be passed on to those in need. Nyree Moore and Jo Marr have volunteered to then take it to the Salvation Army.
